What is health power of attorney?


A power of attorney is a legal document that gives someone the power to act in your place. With a valid power of attorney, the trusted person will be legally permitted to take care of all the things that are important to you eg: paying your bills, managing your investments, or directing your medical care. These power of attorney can be executed digitally called as digital power of attorney.

A health care power of attorney is the legal documents that provide one with options for expressing medical care preferences and instructions, when one become mentally incapacitated or otherwise unable to make or communicate decisions.

The health care agent will have decision-making authority over one’s medical care, should you become incapacitated.
